Why Charites

An estimated 100 million people across the EU provide unpaid care to elderly, disabled, or chronically ill relatives. Despite their vital contribution, carers often experience stress, burnout, isolation, and limited access to education or support.

CHARITES takes its name from the Charites, minor Greek goddesses symbolising kindness, grace, and care — values that reflect the daily reality of caregivers across Europe.
